Vocational High School of Tourism is a state non-specialized school, which educates 296 students from 8 / eighth / to 12 / twelfth / grade in day and evening form and dual system of education. The seat of the school is the town of Samokov. The official address is 18 Sofiysko Shosse Str.  

The high school has two separate, 2 km away from each other, buildings in the central part of the city. Building №1 - the main one is suitable for training in general education subjects. Students from grades 8-10 study in the building on Sofiysko Shosse Street. Building №2 houses the training workshops and museum collections. 11th and 12th grade students spend their classes in the building of "Father Paisii" 21.

The professions and specialties in which admission to PGT is carried out are from PN "Hotel, restaurant and catering";  "Food technologies" and " Production technologies - textiles, clothing, footwear and leather"

The school educates students in a state admission plan after 7th grade and in an additional state admission plan after 10th grade. The number of classes is 13, with an average class size of 25 students.

The staff in PGT consists of 27 pedagogical specialists, incl. director and 1 deputy director and 9 non-pedagogical specialists.  

Pedagogical specialists annually improve their qualification in various qualification forms: seminars, trainings, acquisition of professional qualification degrees in order to meet the high requirements of the educational system.
