Catering
The High School of Tourism provides excellent catering services. Our clients are companies, schools, citizens.
Art and culture
The artistic skills of our students are impressive. Music, dancing, performances of various musical instruments, recitals and videos fill their free time, and the school provides excellent opportunities for development in this direction.
Drama composition
The dramatic composition of PGT prepares thematic productions, which are greeted with great enthusiasm by classmates, teachers, parents and citizens.
Volleyball
The school volleyball team has traditions in the sports history of PGT.
Athletes annually ranked first in municipal competitions.

Participation in events
Participation in national forums and conferences and exhibitions. Every year students and teachers participate in nationally important forums, conferences, exhibitions on various aspects of life, science, economics, tourism.
Mitrovo teacher
Mitrovo teacher teaches authentic lessons from three historical periods, each of which is presented in its own thematic room. It welcomes guests from the country and abroad, both students and adults, to immerse themselves in an authentic educational era from the past through classes in writing, arithmetic, general rules in the classroom, Cyrillic calligraphy, drawing and games.

Looking to the future with innovative vocational training
The main focus when working with students is the development of professional skills of the chosen one
specialty through a lot of practice and work with companies and industry representatives. The project combines the study of subjects from the specific professional training theory and practice, covering the state requirements with the needs of modern business and the development of practical skills in mastering a profession.
Vocational High School of Tourism has been working on projects since 2009. Over the years, the high school has participated in a number of projects under national, European and international programs. Experience shows that working on established programs achieves higher motivation among both students and staff. The exchange of experience inevitably increases the capacity of the organization and increases the competitiveness of students.
Significant for PGT projects
ERASMUS +
As a school focused on vocational education, we annually conduct student internships in order to acquire new knowledge in a partner country. Over 200 students have made mobility in the last 10 years. Among the countries we have worked with are Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy, Greece.
The high school has a Mobility Charter and a Quality Certificate.
INNOVATION IN ACTION
Exchange of innovative practices within the National Park "Innovation in Action".
The national program enabled 16 students and 12 teachers to carry out mobility - a site visit - to participate in demonstrations and monitoring of innovations at the "Lomonosov" High School in Sofia. It was within four days shared experience and change in attitudes towards work and school.
Support for the dual training system
The project "Support for the dual system of education" includes 11 students from 8 and 25 students from 10th grade, studying the specialties "Production of sugar and sugar products" and "Catering".
The main goal is to increase the quality of vocational education in the school and strengthen its connection with the needs of the labor market.
Equal access to school education in times of crisis
The project aims to prevent interruption of the educational process and inclusive education in crisis situations and to counteract the risk of dropping out in a distance learning situation. The planned activities are logically connected and provide an opportunity for continuity of the educational process. They are directly related to overcoming the consequences caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and are related to the technical support of the education system and the provision of conditions for distance learning in an electronic environment, which are determined on the basis of the need for their short-term implementation.
